We get a lot of interesting visitors to the Museum every day. This was the first time that a raccoon decided to visit. This particular raccoon was from a classroom that gives each student an opportunity to take something home, and sometimes it’s a puppet or a stuffed animal. The family is then encouraged to take the creature somewhere interesting and document the story of the animal. It just so happened that Chester arrived on a day when we were making puppets, so his “family” made a dinosaur puppet for Chester to play with. I told them that they should get a picture of Chester being launched from our parachute machine in the Garage Workshop. Not sure if they took my advice or not.
It is always good when the Museum can be used to extend a classroom project. I hope Chester had a fun day at the Museum.
