Lincoln at the Library

Every Thursday I visit the Millvale Community Library.  The space is great and I have a lot of fun helping the kids and staff learn new ways of “making.”  Here is the premier of a movie trailer filmed at the Millvale Community Library.  This movie trailer was made using Imovie on one of the Library’s Ipads.  Enjoy. Youth Maker Nights, Past and Coming Up

If you’ve worked on our loom before, you may be able to spot your handiwork in some of these weavings. Almost all of the work that went into weaving these was done by kids and they’re all one-of-a-kind. Some of the projects will be sticking around MAKESHOP (we didn’t think anybod

A Practical Laser Cutter Project

I had the opportunity to use our laser cutter to create something practical for a change. We usually use our laser cutter to experiment with visitors and demonstrate the use of a laser to cut or etch different materials. I was asked to create this project for Tula Organic Salon and Spa. They wanted to laser cut a stencil so that they could paint a bathroom sign for their shop. I suggested that we could use the laser
