Makers, Artists, and Other Adults

Guest Makers: We invite guest makers to host public programs for our visitors. This exciting opportunity allows you to interact with children while exposing our visitors to interesting projects, unfamiliar careers, and real-world possibilities. Scheduling is flexible and programs could include demonstrations, interactive activities, workshops, or more. Contact us to learn more.

MAKESHOP Show: Guest Makers are also needed to host episodes of the MAKESHOP Show. This is a one-time commitment where you get work with the show’s crew and a kid maker to develop an original how-to video. Visit the MAKESHOP Show website to sign up!

Volunteers and Interns: We are always looking for volunteers and interns. These opportunities are always available and dependent on your schedule. Email us!

Playtesting: Do you have a new game, toy, tool, or interactive that you need to test? MAKESHOP is a space that is devoted to playtesting and research. Contact us for more information on renting the space and using our audience to playtest.
